Overview

The Production Control Coordinator at New Tech Machinery will perform various supply chain activities including monitoring production work orders, prioritizing & expediting work orders as needed, coordinating with other internal personnel regarding resource needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production schedule to alert operations team when a late work order may affect sale order fulfilment
  • Monitor, prioritizes & expedites production work orders
  • Monitor production variances and takes corrective steps
  • Process/close production work orders and assembly builds
  • Perform sales order fulfilments as needed
  • Monitor backorders & backorder Items to fulfill sales orders
  • Assist in the print & assemble of work order packets
  • Assist in release of work orders to the shop floor
  • Assist in the printing and assembly of sales order packets
  • Assist in the release of sales order packets to production.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school or military experience a plus

Experience & Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in production control or a related area strongly preferred
  • Experience with MRP systems preferred
  • Requires solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required
  • Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office 10) are required
  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
