Overview

Inventory Control Cooordinator

 

The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Inventory Analyst and Inventory Manager with data entry operations, maintaining inventory records, and other inventory needs within the ERP system. The Inventory Control Coordinator will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in order to drive the goals of the inventory team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various inventory counts and data entry operations such as cycle counts and inventory location changes
  • Maintain records and assist in performance of inventory and safety audits
  • Perform root-cause analysis for inventory discrepancies as directed
  • Manage stock levels and update ERP system when necessary
  • Perform make to stock work orders and transfer orders according to schedule
  • Perform daily transfer orders out of distribution centers
  • Assist Inventory Analyst and Inventory Manager in building reports and/or collecting data via ERP system
  • Monitor negative inventory balances in the ERP system and change/adjust when applicable
  • Generate expedite lists for inventory manager when requested
  • Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all Safety Guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in an inventory role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement

 

Experience & Skills:

Experience in a business environment with analytical work preferred - data mining, analysis, reporting

Advanced knowledge of Excel and NetSuite ERP preferred

Excellent math and spreadsheet skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required

Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, partners, and team members

Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills

Must have advanced writing and communication skills, and be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various functions of the organization

Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task

Must successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screen and E-verify
