Overview

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing and Communications Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Marketing and Communications Manager for our Metals Division (New Tech Machinery and Sheffield Metals), you will play a key role in tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing and advertising campaigns, ensuring all materials align with our company's brand guidelines. This role will involve close collaboration with content teams, both written and video, as well as our graphics and design team. To excel in this position, you should have hands-on experience with HubSpot’s marketing automation platform and web analytics tools, as well as possess the ability to transform creative ideas into effective marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and communication plans to effectively promote our organization's products, services, and brands.
  • Formulate strategies and tactics to drive qualified traffic to our websites and disseminate content about our companies.
  • Lead the deployment of successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
  • Work closely with content teams to produce valuable and engaging content for our websites and social channels, effectively attracting and converting target audiences.
  • Foster strategic relationships with key industry members, customers, and vendors.
  • Oversee and approve marketing materials, ranging from website content to promotional items, brochures, and case studies.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, identifying weaknesses and developing appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and service teams to create SEO content that establishes our organization as an industry thought leader.
  • Work effectively with an internal team of designers and web developers.
  • Navigate complex organizational structures efficiently.
  • Promote and market a line of complex and technical products, machinery, and services, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Identify, develop, and execute sales and marketing initiatives, including product launches, sales collateral, promotions, website updates, public relations, and internal communications.
  • Utilize various tools to generate metrics and analyze existing content performance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize or enhance content based on current marketing and industry trends.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales Management teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in an Industrial Marketing role. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

 

Experience & Skills:

  • Willingness and potential for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proven track record in identifying target audiences and developing targeted, engaging, educational, and motivating marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong knowledge of website analytics and marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with E-commerce and NetSuite Suite Commerce Advanced / CRM platforms.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience in managing teams.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
  • Knowledge of SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screen and E-verify

Travel

Travel will be approximately 25%.
